Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of The Coveted's luxury personal shopping services, provided by The Coveted Empire LLC., a company that sources designer products on behalf of its clients. By engaging with The Coveted, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Requesting Services

To request services, you may contact The Coveted via email (contact@thecovetedteam.com) or Instagram (@thecoveted__). Your request is considered accepted once we agree orally or in writing via email or social media. The contract is formed based on our communication, any documents or confirmations we send, and these Terms and Conditions.

Once you request a service, we will inform you of the estimated total price. As we source items specifically to order, once we begin working on your request, cancellation may no longer be possible, and you will be required to pay the applicable fees. You may cancel your request for services within 14 days of submission, provided we have not already started sourcing products.

We will not be held liable for any delays due to events beyond our reasonable control.

2. Fees and Payments

We charge a flat rate fee for our services. Certain items may be subject to a premium price, which reflects the exclusivity, rarity, or high demand of the product. 

Upon acceptance of your request, we may require payment card details via a Credit Card Authorization form to secure your request and any future purchases made on your behalf. Once an item is sourced and you confirm your desire to proceed, an invoice will be generated, which is due immediately. Items will not be shipped until payment is received. Accepted payment methods include Bank Deposit, Credit Card, & Zelle. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% surcharge for credit cards 

All domestic orders will be shipped via FedEx within 7-10 business days of payment. International orders will be shipped via DHL. Shipping charges are built into the total price.

We ship all orders via *no signature required upon delivery. However, if you wish to add a signature requirement to your package, this can be arranged upon request prior to shipment. Once the item has been dispatched, we are no longer responsible for the item and any further handling, delivery, or issues that may arise during transit.

You acknowledge and agree that we use “Stripe” (a PCI Service Provider Level 1 certificated platform) to process payment card details. Payments are processed securely through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer).

Failure to make timely payment may result in termination of services.

3. Purchasing Products

Products are sourced from third-party retailers and suppliers. When sourcing products, we may share your personal and delivery details with the relevant retailers to process your order. These details will be stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy and those of the relevant retailers.

Each retailer has their own processing times, delivery methods, and returns/refund policies. 

Import taxes/duties are not included in product prices and may vary based on factors such as the retailer, product type, delivery address, and country of dispatch. You are responsible for paying all applicable import taxes/duties.

Products are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you provided or collected by you (or a carrier you arrange).

4. Returns and Exchanges

Product details, images, and descriptions are provided by the retailers. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, product variations may occur. The consistency of the item’s texture is not guaranteed. 

We do not provide any warranties (express or implied) regarding the quality of products. If a product is not as described, defective, or not fit for purpose, we will assist you in returning it to the retailer according to their policy.

In cases where the return is not due to defects, such as changes of mind or incorrect size, returns or exchanges will be subject to the retailer's policy. You may be responsible for any costs incurred in returning or exchanging the item. Certain retailers may only offer exchanges or issue credit notes instead of refunds.

Please note the following:

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable. 

  • Returns for Store Credit: Any returns processed for store credit must be utilized within 12 months or it will be subject to expiry.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Our sourcing fees, along with any additional charges including processing fees, shipping, customs, and duties, are non-refundable under any circumstances.

5. International Orders

Items sourced internationally may be subject to delays due to factors such as shipping, customs clearance, or availability from the retailer. We are not responsible for delays caused by external parties, including shipping carriers or customs agencies.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Coveted shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from your use of our services, except as provided in these Terms and Conditions or where required by applicable law.

7. Modifications to Terms

The Coveted reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. By continuing to use our services after such changes, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms and Conditions.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Coveted operates.

By engaging with The Coveted’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
